Dr. Eric Polansky
Dr. Polansky is board certified by both the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Polansky graduated from Edinboro University in Edinboro, PA with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine/Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then went on to complete a comprehensive surgical residency program at Riverside Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. During his residency Dr. Polansky was awarded the national Stickle award for his publications on "Digital Perfusion with Tibial Nerve Block", by the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Polansky is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Currently Dr. Polansky is Chairman, Department of Podiatry, Good Samaritan Hospital and Upper Valley Medical Centers. Dr. Polansky is an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member with the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Polansky is the Founder and Director of the Advanced Foot and Ankle Care Centers. The Sidney location was established in 1985. The Piqua office opened in 1986, and the Huber Heights location wasestablished in 1988. Dr. Polansky is an active member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Polansky continues to provide his patients with the latest treatment plans and technology available by regularly attending courses offered by the Orthopedic Institute, the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and other distinguished institutions.
Dr. Polansky and his wife reside in the area with their three children. Dr. Polansky became drawn to the field of Podiatry during his College athletic career as a collegiate pole vaulter.
Dr. Polansky is on staff with Upper Valley Medical Center, Wilson Memorial Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and Samaritan North Medical Center.
